Selfridges Shoe Galleries

One of my favorite parts about shopping in Europe was going to London and seeing how shoe crazy Selfridges was! They recently opened their new Shoe Galleries with plenty of fanfare.
Their windows were all about shoes and they had designers make their own shoe boxes representing their style. Here are some of my favorites...

These are both so girly and sparkly! Love.

Burberry obviously knows which shoe, or boot in this case, was their biggest hit!

Marni being kind of morbid... Drowning dolls

And MORE shoes in windows! I love these... super cute

Blue period?

A take on the Wizard of Oz and the house falling... (sorry for the glare)

GIANT shoes!

There were even shoes for desert when we stopped for lunch!

This amazing company once again...

More amazing images from the Shoot Factory. If you haven't seen this site yet, you need to asap! It's a company that scouts locations then places pics online for potential photographers to view. So, if you're scouting for fantastic locations, this company in London will not let you down. I don't know about you, but those tall windows make me want to move to PARIS! oui ! oui !

Designers Guild, Colorful Inspiration

Established in 1970 Designers Guild is a leading worldwide luxury home furnishing brand. Designers Guild designs and wholesales furnishing fabrics, wallcoverings, upholstery, bed and bath under the Designers Guild and other brands throughout Europe and worldwide.
Tricia Guild founded Designers Guild in Chelsea, London in 1970, one of the most influential and creative forces in Interior Design. I go to this site every so often for inspiration and even though the pics are small, they are still so fascinating! Hope it will inspire you as well.

Chick Shack

I ran across this site and I enjoyed it so much I had to post it here. The furniure and room set up in their pictures are soooo PRETTY! The Pink and Blue was in abundance throughout this site, so if you like those colors you're in luck! Chick Shack is based out of London and they offer quite a collection of painted furniture and accessories for the home inspired by French and Swedish 18th century designs. Enjoy!

Wallpaper, now cups?

Sure, why not. From a site called Charmed in Cornwall and out of London, these cute cups are like wallpaper. What is it about this, people like so much? I can't explain it, but I'm totally drawn to them. Weird, its like fast food for some people....not me, no fast food here! Anyway, back on track. They're so cool and the site has a few more. Enjoy.

Rockstar Pad

Rock n' Roll Edwardian Mansion in London of course. Jezebel lives here and is married to one of the band members from ColdPlay. No wonder this pad is so sexy! I just LOVE their style and that large skull pic above the fireplace is quite unique. Takes guts to put that pic up there. Anyway, this is very Rock n Roll, much like my own coffee table designs: madebygirl. These pretty pics were pulled from one of my favorite sites: Living Etc. Unfortunately, this is the only size pics they had on the site.
