MadeByGirl at the Stationery Show NYC

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be exhibiting at the National Stationery show in New York City this coming May 18-21. After the New Year, I will post my booth number onto my blog with more info. I can't wait for this huge show, its so exciting! I've only attended once awhile back and at the time I didn't have my own booth, so very happy that I will this time. Its been a uphill climb with all the things I've got going on in my life right now but I'm not quitting. Here I am during a promotional shoot with my cards. If anyone wants to use these pics to post onto their blog, please do so. But make sure you link back to me. Hope everyone is having a nice week so far!!

MadeByGirl JUST LAUNCHED and Environmentally-Friendly.

I’m back & excited to announce the NEW LAUNCH of my site! With all the environmental problems happening these days, I’ve decided to head into a totally different direction with my business. Even though I’m selling the last few tables, I’ve decided that a greener approach would be a smarter way to go. I like helping people and if spreading the word through my designs can bring even more awareness to the public on the global warming issues, then that is what I want to do. I’m launching a line of Greeting Cards, which I like to call ‘Eco-friendly designer cards’.

Please take a look at the site and let me know what you think. All cards are printed on 100% recycled quality over stock. It’s all about COLOR , emotions and care. If anyone is interested in featuring some of my cards or prints in their blog, pls to write to me at: Jen@madebygirl.com.

Have an amazing TURKEY DAY!

Wallpaper, now cups?

Sure, why not. From a site called Charmed in Cornwall and out of London, these cute cups are like wallpaper. What is it about this, people like so much? I can't explain it, but I'm totally drawn to them. Weird, its like fast food for some people....not me, no fast food here! Anyway, back on track. They're so cool and the site has a few more. Enjoy.

Kelly Wearstler is my top pick Designer!

I LOVE her designs and have even been around them, such as the ViceRoy hotel in Santa Monica. I remember walking in there and seeing this lobby and was so impressed. She isn't afraid to use colors and has lots of fun doing it i'm sure. She has her own style and I enjoy every bit of it. I'd to get her newest book "Modern Glamour- The Art of Unexpected Style" - i skimmed through it today while at the bookstore and many of the pics on her site are in the book. Its an amazing site too: Kelly Wearstler. Its a pleasure to post some of her work here.

Eat on this

These are the coolest dishware i've seen. They all have a unique design and color. You can even lean them on your walls as decoration. You can see more of her brightly colored dishes on her site: Sarah Cihat.
