Monday Dreamin'.....of this lovely home.

I thought this home was breathtakingly beautiful. The wardrobe area alone, (an entire room) was enough to make me dream...It's like a boutique! Apartment Therapy knows how to find them.

West End Loft......

I was looking through Apartment Therapy & came across this interesting loft apartment. I love what the designer did to this place....stunning! Look at those floor to ceiling curtains in the living room! I can only imagine what it would be like to open those curtains & let the sun shine in every morning......so pretty!

HOUSE Beautiful...in New Orleans

Did you all see this GORGEOUS New Orleans home on Apartment Therapy?? I was so wow'd (is that a word)? Maybe not. Anyhow, I would love to share it with those who haven't seen it. The home is off of the House Beautiful website. Enjoy! (P.S.) This week will be very busy for me, so I won't be able to post too much. But I will be checking in to read comments and so forth.

I LOVE Creative People....

Apartment Therapy always impresses me with their content, this one in particular caught my eye. Perhaps because its such a creative space ... Situated in Los Angeles this 1,200 sq. ft loft was built in 1905. However, this wasn't a residential space back then, it was the Pacific Electric Building, a space used as a terminal and an office for the downtown streetcar operations. Get this, It was supposedly LA's first skyscraper, wow!! To see more go here.

For me, decorating a space with your own art (art that you made) is so personal and meaningful. I have quite a few pieces in my own home that I painted. The couple that lives here, Anne Faith Nicolls & Jacob Arden McClure are great artists as you will see throughout their loft. Great job to both of them for making this space their own. Green Living- well sort of.

This home belongs to two LUCKY people out in Vancouver. They were selected to appear on small cool spaces of 2008 via Apartment Therapy. I fell in love with these images of their home even though its only 817 sq ft! Its not even half the size of my home, but its so adorable and I love the GREEN walls, who knew!?! Lets not forget the height on that ceiling, wow! (click photos for larger images).
