Atelier Eva Juliet Prints.....

I've run across several Etsy shops and artwork on Etsy that I really loved...this particular shop, Atelier Eva Juliet happens to carry one of my favorites. They have a print that reads, "it's never too late" (to be what you want to be), a very appropriate & positive message. You can view that print here as well.

PATCH NYC at West Elm.....

Have you walked into West Elm lately?? I was there last weekend looking at this glass links chandelier & I spotted the new collection by PATCH NYC.  The designer Don Carney, brings his bold ink nature drawings to pieces like ceramic plates, pillows and artwork for your walls!  It's a great way to always be reminded of nature all around us. There is another interesting piece that I did not see at West Elm, but you will find it on the PATCH NYC site, the SKULL head print, which I really loved!  These would look very pretty placed in clusters on your wall...maybe near your dining area or even in your kitchen! Drop into West Elm this weekend to see the entire collection!

New Prints from my Made By Girl shop !!

My company, Made By Girl recently launched this set of prints called "Hello & Love Languages".  I designed these with today's modern home in mind...fitting quite nicely together as shown in the image of my home below.  If you love bold typography, this will be one print you don't want to miss out on. Since the launch (a few weeks ago) they've been flying off the shelves.  Right now, we have 2 options available, a screen print (gray letters) or digital print (white letters). So, why did I choose these particular languages for the prints?? These languages actually represent the fifteen highest traffic countries on my blog!

Did you notice the LOVE & HELLO hiding in gray within in each print??

I designed the Hello Languages typography print (below) with entryways in mind. It's such a cool print to have in your home and at the same time to welcome your guests!

Susan Brown paintings : A definite work of art...

Artist Line Juhl Hansen (Home & Studio Tour)

Line Juhl Hansen is a professional artist living in Denmark. Her style is quite unique and playful. I love that she was generous enough to share home & studio pics with us. My boxer is getting around....

Thanks to artist, Nicole Smith of A Plush Life for painting this cool portrait of my boxer, Danny. I'd say she captured the likeness quite nicely! The original is painted on a 16" x 20" Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas. She's donated the painting to the Florida Boxer Rescue's show, The Art of Rescue. Her 16x20 piece will be on display at the The Art Institute of Tampa Gallery from June 1 through June 13, 2009. This one below is just a print out that will hang in my kitchen. Thanks Nicole!

Sorry I haven't been able to post today. I've been working on this painting (below) most of the day. What a process.....I started with the illustration over the weekend & finally finished painting it (oil) onto a flat canvas panel just now! Blue Bicicletta - Blue Bicycle

I came across Blue Bicicletta, by Nicole Docimo....and really like her artwork. I can't say enough about this art.....It's simple, beautiful & all hand drawn...! My favorite has to be the Stop & Smell the Roses.

Lauren from Lauren Ceramics left a comment asking me to check out her art wall....(she was inspired to make one after seeing mine here) I went to have a look. I thought hers was soo cute! I loved the mirror addition, but one frame really caught my eye. The 'Incase of an emergency, breakdance' . I then drifted off to Miso Funky who designs these cute little pieces of art. I'm in LOVE!
