She is best known for her studio albums, music videos, and songs such as "...Baby One More Time" and "Oops!… I Did It Again". In the early 2000s, Spears's success as a singer led her way to high-profile advertising deals and endorsements, as well as forays into other forms of media, including film and reality television. Her third and fourth albums, Britney and In the Zone, were released during this era. In 2004, she married back-up dancer and aspiring rap artist Kevin Federline, and the following year she gave birth to their first son, Sean Preston. Their second son, Jayden James, was born in 2006. Spears filed for divorce from Federline on November 7, 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.

Spears has sold over 86 million albums worldwide according to TIME magazine. The RIAA ranks Spears as the eighth best-selling female artist in American music history and Jive´s best selling artist, having sold 31 million albums in the U.S.

RadarOnline posted a taped conversation allegedly between Spears and her former husband of 55 hours, Jason Alexander in which a voice reported to be Spears says, "That f***er is not my fiance."

Making the most of what was a warm day in Southern California, Britney Spears was spotted out at Menchies in Calabasas on Sunday (November 14).

After treating Sean Preston to an icy snack the previous day, the "Gimme More" singer took her turn with youngest son Jayden James to close out the weekend at the popular frozen yogurt shop.

The mother/son time comes after Miss Spears spent Friday recording new music at Conway Studios with new album producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin.

Meanwhile, Britney recently credited her young sons with helping her keep a slim figure, as she told press, "How do I keep slim? Having two boys definitely helps, and I love to dance. It's the best way to stay in shape."

Referring to her debut single ‘…Baby One More Time’, performed by Lea Michele, Britney – who guests stars in the episode – wrote on her twitter page: “Watching Baby brings back so many memories! Feels like yesterday. (sic)”
