Stylish Little Girl's Bedroom by Martensen Jones

Lisa Martensen and Jan Jones put together this little girl's room and in my opinion, it is one of the prettiest I've seen online! I looked through their portfolio several times and there was no shortage of beautiful interiors! This ISN'T YOUR  TYPICAL girls bedroom...and perhaps that is what is so captivating to me. Latest Book Purchase: "Colors For Your Home." VERY handy!

Ok, if you're thinking about PAINTING a room in your home but are struggling with selecting the RIGHT color, this book, "Colors For Your Home" definitely helps! Even though it's not a new book, I bought it this weekend and am already excited to start a new painting project!

I have to say, I REALLY love that there are more than 300 paint formulas featured in this book that are often used by interior designers. (I'm sure will make your choice a lot easier). The book is brought to you by House Beautiful Magazine so I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

My Latest West Elm Purchase.....

Got a new cushion (which was on SALE) from West Elm and I also picked up their hand knit throw which is soo amazingly soft! I had been contemplating on getting this for awhile now & it's finally on the sofa. A couple years ago I really wasn't into West Elm, it's amazing how my taste has evolved. Now, I can't get enough of their store! The sheepskin throw hanging on the back of my sofa is from Ebay, I ordered two of them  ....they're the ones from IKEA.

New from Lonny Magazine....

Here's a great start to a new week with the newest issue of Lonny Magazine! In this issue we get a great look at Michelle's (editor in chief) new apartment! My favorite is the dining area! I've been wanting to re-upholster my current dining table chairs in a black & white STRIPED fabric and after seeing Michelle's I am sooo INSPIRED!  However, I would have to re-paint my chairs, they definitely need a bit of a PAINT face-lift.

If I'm feeling LAZY & don't want to take on the DIY, I can just buy the chairs ALREADY upholstered in a striped blk & white fabric directly from Ballard Designs.  Something to keep in mind...hmmm.  Ballard is great, I'm a big fan of their site, especially their chair collection. Have a great Monday and thanks to Michelle Adams once again for giving us all this eye-candy!

Hus & Hem....Home & Art

Hus & Hem had this home featured on their website today....it was fascinating for the ARTWORK alone. I like the white walls with the pops of colorful art pieces! As an American, I don't often come across this style of home so I am immediately drawn to it's originality and boldness. I love art, it never ceases to INSPIRE me. I am now picturing myself in this home listening to Johann Sebastian Bach's "Air on the G String".

3 Men & A Lady Blogger shares her home with us....

Michelle from Three Men & A Lady has a great DIY style blog I think you'd enjoy! I really like the unique touches she's added throughout her home. So, I decided to ask her if she'd share it with all of you, she said YES! One of my favorite features is her striped entryway & the handy chalkboard near her kitchen...where she writes, "Remember...as far as anyone knows, we're a perfectly normal family." Thanks Michelle!
