Cheryl Cole’s Nobu Night On the Town

Having recently finished up judging duties on “The X Factor,” Cheryl Cole stepped out for a relaxing dinner at Nobu restaurant on Park Lane in Mayfair, London on Friday night (December 17).

Looking stunning in a light blue silk playsuit with some sparkly silver high heels, the 27-year-old was joined for the tasty meal by her mom, as well as her Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

The Nobu outing followed press duties earlier in the day, as Cheryl cranked out a pre-recorded interview and performance for The Alan Carr Chatty Man TV show at The London Studios.

Meanwhile, it’s still expected that Miss Cole will soon be making her move to the States to help Simon Cowell launch “The X Factor” in the US.

Of the planned change of locale, tabloid reports claim the Cheryl is a bit worried about how she’ll be perceived – with sources claiming she wants to drop a few pounds before the transition.

A pal is said to have told UK’s Now magazine, “Making it in the US will be stressful and she’s overwrought. She knows how harsh US audiences and tabloids can be, so she wants to get it right. She’s seen what happened to Britney Spears with all the scrutiny over her weight and personal life and Cheryl’s determined to keep her private life private and focus on work.”

Ashley Greene: Best Buy Babe

Tending to her all-important promotional duties to end the week, Ashley Greene was busy greeting her many fans at a local Best Buy in new York City on Friday night (December 17).

The Alice Cullen cutie posed for pictures before taking her chair to sign copies of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” DVD – which hit store shelves just last week.

Tweeting about her day’s doings to her many followers, Miss Greene wrote, “Such a fun day… At a cover shoot then going to sign some Eclipse dvd’s!! Can’t wait to meet some of my AMAZING fans tonight!!”

Once finished up with her press outing, the brunette beauty added, “OMG just met so many incredible fans at the best buy eclipse DVD signing! I am so grateful! Love you all!”

The English model donned an array of skimpy ensembles, also puffing on a cigarette while at one point shedding her top for the risque photo spread.

Accompanying the sexy pics is an interview with the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” beauty – during which she mentioned the multiple comparisons she receives to British top model Kate Moss.

Paying compliments, Rosie dished, “It does not matter to me that they compare me with Kate Moss. I believe that she is the best ambassador of the British fashion.”

Jenny McCarthy: No More Dating Celebrities

She's ending out 2010 as a single woman, and Jenny McCarthy says she's perfectly fine with being on her own until she finds the right guy.

The "Singled Out" hottie explained that she's not willing to give it another go with a celebrity romance, either.

“I can’t do any celebrities. I need normal folks. I’m officially done [with Hollywood guys]. It was on my bucket list. Maybe I can check that one off my list.”

But she wouldn't mind a little lip action on New Year's Eve. “All those single men – I hope to go to Times Square. I’m going to be looking for someone to make out with at midnight.”

Anne Hathaway’s Elementary School Oscar Invitation

She's one half of the Academy Awards-hosting duo, and last night (December 16) Anne Hathaway had a very important question for the students of P.S. 22's Chorus- Do you want to go to Hollywood?

According to Gossip Cop, the "Get Smart" hottie was in the house for the New York City school's Annual Winter Concert, and at the end of the gig, she invited the pint-sized singers to come perform at the Oscars.

Of course, all the kids began screaming and jumping around once they heard that they'd be performing at the high-profile affair.

Following the pandemonium, Anne sang "Jingle Bells" with the choir to celebrate the great evening.

Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ May Get Oscar Nod

He's had quite the successful year, so it comes as no surprise that Justin Bieber’s "Never Say Never" is in the running for an Oscar nomination.

Earlier this week, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released its list of the 41 songs eligible for the Original Song category at this year's annual awards.

The Biebs' song, in which he teamed up with Jaden Smith to do, is the theme tune for the remake of "Karate Kid."

"Never Say Never" is in the running with Gwyneth Paltrow's "Coming Home" and "Me and Tennesee," along with a trio of songs from Christina Aguilera's "Burlesque," among many others.

The nominations will be announced on January 25 at 8:30 EST.

Eddie Cibrian’s Ex Brandi Glanville: Possible Jail Time

Back in October she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, and now Brandi Glanville could be facing some time in prison.

The ex-wife of Eddie Cibrian has been charged with both DUI as well as driving with a BAC above the legal limit of .08%.

And depending on how things go in court, Brandi could be facing as much as six months in jail and a fine of up to $1000.

Following the incident, Ms. Glanville tweeted, “I messed up. I take full responsibility for my actions. I regret my bad choice, and am thankful to God that no one got hurt. I’m sorry."

Leighton Meester Talks “Country Strong” Performances

Stepping out of her comfort zone, Leighton Meester stars as Chiles Stanton, an up-and-coming country singer in "Country Strong." And she said the performance-heavy role was a bit nerve-wracking.

The "Gossip Girl" actress explained, “It’s terrifying and it’s just, it’s an incredible adrenaline rush. It’s not bad, by any means, it’s just terrifying.”

She continued, "I’ve never done what Chiles does [in the film]: get up onstage and not a single note comes out. That hasn’t happened. For her, that was another aspect that was incredibly fulfilling. She changes. She starts off a certain way and she ends up completely the other way. She grows up.”

As for her new album, Leighton seemed sketchy about a release date. “I don’t know. I recorded three songs recently. I have, like, 20 more to do. So I don’t know when that’s going to happen. I just really want it to be perfect. I’m not in any rush. It’s all in my heart, and I’m really happy how it’s going. I’ve been very inspired, even with this movie, how I write.”

Michelle Williams Reminisces on “Dawson’s Creek”

The "Blue Valentine" star admitted that it was a struggle finding work after the hit teen show ended. “Yes, it was hard getting jobs I wanted,” she said. “I was a pop tart. It took patience and baby steps.”

During her stint alongside Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and James Van der Beek, William also admitted to thinking ahead to the future. She explained, "I was plotting my tastes, my interests, my beliefs and hopes for what I could be.”

Now the actress has no problem landing various roles – aside from her recent big hits like "Blue Valentine" and "Shutter Island," she has two other major films in post-production at the moment, "My Week with Marilyn," and "Take This Waltz."

Her new film "Black Swan" is garnering all kinds of acclaim, and Winona Ryder is featured in the January 2011 issue of GQ magazine.

The "Reality Bites" actress explains that her role in the Darren Aronofsky flick is reminiscent of what happens in Tinseltown all the time.

"I thought it was a cool parallel. Being replaced by the young thing. I know that definitely happens in Hollywood. It's harder to find good roles, and suddenly there's new girls. I'm at that age I've been warned my whole life about."

Winona also recalled an uncomfortable incident with Mel Gibson back in the day. "I remember, like, fifteen years ago, I was at one of those big Hollywood parties. And he was really drunk. I was with my friend, who's gay. He made a really horrible gay joke. And somehow it came up that I was Jewish. He said something about 'oven dodgers,' but I didn't get it. I'd never heard that before. It was just this weird, weird moment. I was like, 'He's anti-Semitic and he's homophobic.' No one believed me!"

It's no secret that celebrities are targeted by erroneous rumors every day. And the latest reports of a rift between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are absolutely bogus.

Star magazine tried to pawn off a "Christmas Split" story by claiming "Fed-Up Katie Leaving Tom." But their rep says it's completely made-up.

Furthermore, Star said, "They have been living separate lives in recent months. Katie is so lonely she probably forgets what it's like to be happy."

"The report is absolutely false," said the rep to Gossip Cop, adding that the only "leaving" going on is Katie spending some time in her hometown of Toledo, Ohio later this month.
