Paris Hilton’s Pure Night with Jennifer Rovero

Stepping out to play host of a birthday party, Paris Hilton was spotted at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas on Tuesday (December 14).

The hotel heiress looked lovely in a black dress and heels as she posed for several pictures in the media area outside the club.

Joining her in some of the photos was the birthday girl herself – Jennifer Rovero, who most people know as a Playboy Playmate, but who also worked for Ms Hilton as a photographer earlier this year.
After the shindig at Pure, the blonde beauties headed on over to Serendipity to continue the celebration into the wee hours of the morning.

Britney Spears Gets Animated for New Comic Book

She's had plenty of documentaries done on her life, and now Britney Spears will be featured in a new comic book.

"Fame: Britney Spears" will hit stores in March and is said to contain the story of her rise to fame as well as her plethora of personal problems.

Bluewater Productions is releasing the book, a collaboration between CW Cooke and Ricardo Jaime.

An ad for the comic reads, “Britney Spears – the most famous superstar of the 21st century. What does it take to reach those heights in the Internet Age? What are the hidden costs when every move makes the headlines? More than an entertainment powerhouse. More than a dancer and musician. Britney Spears is a survivor!”

The Stars React to 2011 Golden Globe Nominations

We'll all have to wait until January 16th to find out ends up winning, but in the meantime the Golden Globe nominees are just thrilled to be in the running for a trophy.

Following the official announcements today, Nicole Kidman (Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture for 'Rabbit Hole') told press, “It took more than four years to get our little movie off the ground, and to be recognized for my work in a film that means so much to me is truly such an honor. Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press [Association] for your continued support.”

"Black Swan" director Darren Aronofsky was also tickled at his film's four nods. “I am very thankful to the HFPA for this honor. The prestige of the nominations draws attention to independent films like ‘Black Swan’ and I think helps get these small films made. I am also so thrilled for my actors Natalie [Portman] and Mila [Kunis] who gave me their spirits to film and risked losing toe nails every day.”

Also, Natalie Portman shared, “I’m very honored by the HFPA nomination, and to be included in this group of actresses I so admire. The experience of filming ‘Black Swan’ with [director] Darren Aronofsky and our incredible crew is already the most fulfilling experience of my career. The audience appreciation of the film is only furthering how grateful and proud I am to be part of the film.”

Additionally, "The Social Network" screenwriter Aaron Sorkin noted, “I’ve had the time of my life working alongside my colleagues on ‘The Social Network’ and I’m grateful to the HFPA for recognizing their great, hard work,” he said. “On a personal note it’s humbling to be nominated alongside six of the best screenwriters in town.”

Best Supporting Actor nominee Michael Douglas ('Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps'), who has battled throat cancer as of late, exclaimed, “To be selected with these extraordinary nominees is an honor and boy was I ready for some good news!”

And Johnny Depp scored a pair of nods, both for "The Tourist" and "Alice in Wonderland." He gushed, “One nomination would of course be a great honor, but two, is simply astonishing. I am floored, truly, by the HFPA’s kindness and generosity. I wish to thank them dearly, as well as all those many wonderful souls who made the films in question possible. My deepest gratitude and respect goes out to you all.”

She's no stranger to the scrutiny of Hollywood, but Natalie Portman had some moments in college where she wasn't red-carpet-ready.

The "Black Swan" babe confessed to Vogue that while she was at Harvard University, things got a little out of control.

“I gained my freshman fifteen or 20 and had super-depressed moments. That Cambridge winter is tough. It was important to know how to go through that and how to get myself out of it. You start learning how to ask your friends or professionals for help, or go to mentors.”

And though she's much more petite than that now, Natalie insists she still gets plenty of food. “I swear, I eat. I ate a bagel an hour ago. I consume my own weight in hummus every day. I cook a lot, and I even do vegan baking.”

She's known the world over as one of Tinseltown's sexiest actresses, but Olivia Wilde was intimidated when it came to looking good in her form-fitting "Tron: Legacy" getup.

The "House" hottie explained to FOX Pop Tarts, "I'm so proud to be in a suit that was created by fifty technicians and engineers, complete with wires and lights running through it. I saw it being built slowly through the months and then bang it just lit up. But it did take a few hours just to get into it."

"It was an effort to get into that suit, but if I was a real astronaut I wouldn't expect that to be easy either. It's all part of the process, it's a challenge and that is what creates the rewards."

Of the film, costar Michael Sheen bragged, "It'll be unlike anything you've ever seen before. It takes all the technology that you've seen in films like 'Avatar,' 'Benjamin Button' and 'Alice in Wonderland,' and takes them much, much further. For people who did see the original film and who loved it then, you get all the old stuff back but completely changed and revamped. Twenty-eight years of technology in between have kind of made everything go crazy."

Angelina Jolie Nabs Golden Globe Nomination

She's no stranger to scoring trophies, and Angelina Jolie received a Golden Globe nomination for "The Tourist" today.

The "Changeling" actress will compete in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy or Musical, though "The Tourist" doesn't really seem to fit into either of those two genres.

Additionally, the film has been widely panned by critics, and only scored $17 million in opening weekend box office sales, so the nomination seems a bit odd.

Another surprise nominee is Christina Aguilera and Cher's new flick "Burlesque," which has also received a cold shoulder from critics. It will be featured in the Best Comedy/Musical category.

The "Sucker Punch" actress is adding another year to her life, and it looks like she'll spend her birthday without a man.

Yesterday it was confirmed that Vanessa and her longtime boyfriend/ "High School Musical" costar Zac Efron decided to call it quits.

An insider explained, “It was mutual. They have been together for so long. It just ran its course. They are still talking and still friends. There’s no drama. No one cheated. They just grew up.”

The "Iron Man" actress was all smiles in a white dress and heels upon arrival and during the acceptance of her star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Clad in a classy white dress with heels, the Oscar winning actress was cheered on by quite the gathered crowd, which included country singing pal/co-star Tim McGraw and his lovely wife Faith Hill.

Meanwhile, due to Paltrow's recent appearance on the hit show "Glee," the beautiful blonde admits she now has a new, younger group of fans.

Of this, she told Reuters, “The other day I was in Chicago doing this movie ‘Contagion.’ I was in my trailer, which was in a parking lot by a school, and there were these young girls who were like, ‘Oh my God, you were on ‘Glee!’”

Getting lots of birthday love from her celeb friends, Taylor received celebratory tweets from stars like Selena Gomez and Katy Perry.

2011 Oscar Presenters Announced

It's always the highlight of Awards Show Season, and now the first round of Academy Awards presenters has been announced.

Among the big names for the night are Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges, and Marisa Tomei.

Interestingly, Ms. Bullock and Mr. Bridges both won the lead acting categories in the female and male categories, respectively.

As for the night's hosts, "Love & Other Drugs" babe Anne Hathaway and "Pineapple Express" charmer James Franco will share the duties.

She's always up for a publicity opportunity, and earlier today (December 13) Cher was spotted at the UK premiere of "Burlesque."

The "If I Could Turn Back Time" singer sported some crazy tangerine-colored hair as she walked the red carpet at the Empire Leicester Square in London, England.

In related news, Cher appears in a new support video alongside her costar Christina Aguilera in which they both decry bullying.

She states, “School is the least part of your life and everyone is stupid and going though changes… it seems like it should be better now and people should be much more free, much more open and willing to accept what’s going on."

“We should be going the opposite way. Bullying is a trend for everyone – I don’t get that trend but it seems to me that maybe we’re a less nice generation. You see it on reality shows… there are a lot of things going on that I don’t get, but I’ve seen it.”

Leighton Meester Predicts “Gossip Girl” End Date

It certainly has been one of the most entertaining dramas out there, but "Gossip Girl" may be drawing to an end in the next few years.

While out promoting her upcoming film "Country Strong," Leighton Meester spoke with E! News about how long she believes the show will last, to which she replied, "Two more years."

The Blair Waldorf actress was then asked why two years? "Because we're under contract," she explained.

Leighton added that the producers and the network have been more understanding than ever before about herself and her costars taking time off in order to pursue other projects, particularly movies.

“It allows you to be ready for when the show’s over,” she said.

2010 Hollywood Style Awards: A Star-Studded Affair

Gathering together to honor the best when it comes to star stylists, Tinseltown turned up in full force at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, California on Sunday evening (December 12).

Working the red carpet ahead of the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards were gorgeous gals including Selena Gomez, Kate Bosworth, Camilla Belle and Victoria Justice.

Also on hand were Katie Cassidy, Zooey Deschanel, Dave Annable, Odette Yustman and Emily Blunt, as well as “Glee” stars including Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Jayma Mays and Chris Colfer.

With the ceremony being hosted by comedian Natasha Leggero, the Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design in Film honors went to Colleen Atwood while “Glee” costume designer Lou Eyrich received the Outstanding Achievement in TV.

Putting her stunning beauty on full display, Amy Adams adorns the cover of the January 2011 issue of Marie Claire magazine.

The 36-year-old actress donned a variety of stylishly sexy ensembles for the magazine’s accompanying spread which coincides with Miss Adams’ promotional efforts for her upcoming movie due out on December 17th titled “The Fighter”.

As for the issue’s interview, Amy reminisced on a past Q&A session with a reporter who stunned the actress after seeming to be surprised about the fact that she’s had sex.

Adams tells, “I did one interview when I was pregnant and the writer said he though people would be surprised to know that I had sex.”

She continued, “I didn’t know what to say. I was like, ‘Excuse me if it takes a minute to process the fact that you think I’m asexual.’ Anyway, there’s something great about the world thinking I’m so innocent. Only it’s not true.”

Unable to make her marriage last, Elizabeth Hurley has just revealed that she’s split from her husband Arun Nayar.

The British actress/model confirmed the news just hours after News of the World published allegations that she has been enjoying an affair with cricket ace Shane Warne.

The British tabloid story included pictures of Hurley and Warne at the Bentley Hotel in South Kensington which showed the pair kissing in a doorway.

Following the revelations, Hurley took to her Twitter to say, “Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.”

Rejoicing in their recent engagement news, Prince William and Kate Middleton have just released a pair of official photographs to mark their joyous marital announcement.

Offered up for publication by Clarence House Press Office, the royal couple posed alongside one another in the Cornwall Room in St James’s Palace for photographer Mario Testino on November 25, 2010.

For the photo session, Miss Middleton looked elegant in a white Reiss dress and Links earrings while her soon-to-be husband opted for a Turnbull and Asser suit.

With Mr. Testino being hand picked by Prince William, a Clarence House spokesperson told, “Prince William has worked with Mario Testino on many occasions before, and so the couple decided that he was the right choice for such an important portrait.”

Clearly grateful about being selected, Testino said in a statement, “I am very happy to have been asked to cover this historic moment that the whole world was waiting for. They are in their prime and brimming with happiness. I have never felt so much joy as when I see them together.”

Making for quite the fun-filled evening in the Big Apple, Selena Gomez brought her energetic ways to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday night (December 10).

Joining her bandmates, the darling actress/singer was clad in a cute black dress as she churned out tunes such as her hit song “Naturally” as part of the Z100 Jingle Ball 2010 festivities.

While in attendance at the holiday-themed show, Selena took a moment to chat with MTV News about her much talked about IHOP outing with Justin Bieber in Philadelphia.

Denying a budding romance, the 18-year-old dished, “It was pancakes. Who doesn’t like pancakes? We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That’s all it is. All innocent.”

Miss Gomez continued, “I love Justin. When he first started to come over from Canada his manager contacted me and he just said that he would like to meet me and he was just such a good kid. Dubbed as “India’s Hottest Export,” the magazine features a sexy spread of the 26-year-old with shots of her getting wet and messy in the kitchen adorning the pages accompanying an interview.

Freida ended up speaking primarily about her upcoming film “Miral” – which is a drama directed by Julian Schnabel due in U.S. theaters on March 25, 2011.

Comparing the gig to working with Woody Allen in “You Will Meet a Tall, Dark Stranger,” Freida told GQ India, “Woody is someone I really respect – because he’s a legend, but it’s not like I got to know everything about his life. With Julian – we ended up sharing a very personal relationship.”

Making certain not to infer anything romantic, she added, “Almost that of a father-daughter.”
