Cheryl Cole's lifeblood amass diet pannedCheryl Cole's lifeblood amass diet panned: Cheryl Cole is said to be a follower of the blood group diet in which you choose food according to your blood type. But the X Factor Judge's choice of eating plan has earned her the queen of the "dodgy diet" title after it was derided by dieticians. "This diet could lead to significant deficiencies such as calcium," said the British Dietetic Association.

The eating plan, which was slated by the association along with the Hollywood favourite, maple syrup diet, stipulates which foods dieters should eat and which ones they should avoid, depending on their blood type. For example, those with blood group O should have high meat intake and no dairy, wheat or grains.

Aishwarya and Urmila have done justice to my melodies: Asha BhosleAishwarya and Urmila have done justice to my melodies: Asha Bhosle: Singler Asha Bhosle’s voice has launched many a pretty faces in Bollywood. But ask her as to who has done maximum jusitice to her numbers and she says Urmila Matondkar and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan. “These two girls have done justice to my songs. Urmilla was simply superb in Tanha tanha,” she says nostalgically.

Having sung for almost every face in the industry, Asha maintains that the old time Bollywood actors were the best to work with as they preferred to be around while she herself would be recording the songs in the studio. “It helped them absorb the element better,” she explains.

“Helen used to call me just a little before the recordings and ask me to sing the song keeping her in mind,” she fondly recalls. “Even Madhubala used to sit beside me while I recorded in the studio.”

Asha suggests that the young brigade of actors too should follow the same. “It will be helpful to them.”

Talking about the changing scenario in the industry Asha maintains that “Singing is only thing I’m capable of doing.” With her mellifluous voice, Asha has added grace to countless songs and myriad compositions. From pure classical to popular pop, this iconic singer has explored it all.

50 Cent’s Rap Ruins Michael Jackson Monster Track

50 Cent's Rap Ruins Michael Jackson Monster Track“Monster” is one of the tracks from Michael Jackson’s newly released posthumous album “Michael.” It features rapper 50 Cent who recently talked about having the chance to be involved with the song. 50 says that his DJ knew Jackson and when he met with him one day Jackson said he had a song that he wanted 50 to appear on.  The idea isn’t as odd as it may sound. Jackson has always been both a trend setter and someone who took current trends, shattered them and made them his own. Michael Jackson, if nothing else, always walked to the beat of his own drummer.

This is not the first time Jackson has had a rapper add to his work, it just seems like Michael Jackson and 50 cent are so far apart on the spectrum that it was an unlikely pairing. For his part 50 says he changed up his trademark cadence to better fit the track and pushed himself to do well.  The tracks is all about how Hollywood (and fame in general) can turn you into someone you aren’t and someone/something you don’t even like. This is a common thread that has run through Jackson’s work for decades.  He has trouble trusting people and letting others get close and this song is all about that.

The song is effective, but, to me, the rap kind of threw it for a loop. For starters 50 Cent did change his cadence and while you can tell it is him, it is a little distracting. It feels like he is channeling his mentor Eminem as 50 uses that chop and attack style vocals with machine gun rhythm. It is interesting to hear him use that rise and fall style, but I don’t think it works here.
