Her lawyer tells Radar Online that “Alex is seeking a settlement, an apology from Demi and a donation made to a charity of her choice.” If no settlement is reached, Welch plans to sue sometime next week. It looks like that won’t be necessary, because Welch’s lawyer tells Radar that the parties are close to reaching a settlement. Welch has granted interviews to People Magazine and Inside Edition. She told People that Demi still hasn’t apologized, and she confirmed earlier details of the attack – that Demi accused her of snitching and punched her in the face for it. | Posted: 09 Dec 2010 12:08 AM PST Dakota Fanning to abandon 'If I Stay' and won't tackle the lead roles until following secondary school: Fans of Dakota Fanning were keen on the teen actress tackling a serious dramatic role as the lead in the supernatural drama "If I Stay."But a source familiar with the film said that, after the announcement in October that the star would take on the part, Fanning has opted not to make the movie, which leaves her without a new leading role (and also, incidentally, throws the project into question). On Thursday afternoon a representative for the star confirmed she would not shoot the film and chalked it up to the actress' desire to finish her senior year of high school. The representative said that Fanning will shoot the two "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" films (in which she plays Jane, a role that brings a decidedly lighter workload), and may shoot a smaller independent movie. Ink and owner of the Hollywood shop High Voltage Tattoo. A tattoo artist since the age of 14, Von D estimates she does 3-5 tattoos every day on a wide range of clients that includes everyone from celebrities like Dave Navarro and members of the band Green Day to homeless teenagers, psychics and pastors.
